Built upon the life giving messages we hear from Pastor Terry, Renew Church ministries are a place for encouragement, fellowship and growth. We hope you find a place to plug in and get to know our family a little better.
From newborn through 5th graders, Renew Kids is designed to provide a safe, child-friendly atmosphere to awaken the spirituality of children at an early age. We teach Bible truths and spiritual principles in an age appropriate format with lots of high-energy, fun-filled activities. We believe that children are not just the future, as the saying goes, but they are our present. As a result, our vision is to empower and train up this growing generation to become faith-filled men and women of God.
Each age group has its own creatively themed classroom. “Under the Sea”, “Baby Safari”, “God the Builder”, and “Faith Friends” are colorfully designed to engage the little ones. “JoyBugz” and “Love Rangers” also use appealing themes to invite your preschoolers to be excited about their time at church! The Kindergarteners through 2nd graders will embark on an adventure into “The Kingdom” where they will experience energetic praise and worship, interactive lessons, and entertaining yet powerful skits, that identifies them as “Kingdom Kids” with a purpose to “Build the Kingdom”.
Sizzle
Due to our explosive growth, we have recently separated out our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders into their own special class. This age group engages in discussion throughout their lesson to keep it relevant and teach them how to apply the word as they receive it. Preparing the way to middle school, they learn to expand their capacity for the Word of God as they enjoy fun activities on their level.
Knowing that middle school presents a variety of challenges for today’s youth, Spark was created to call up pre-teens to a more mature level of growth. In Spark, they are encouraged to develop confidence in who God says they are, despite what the world tells them. The opportunities offered through monthly social activities keep church exciting and provide an environment where they can cultivate lasting, positive relationships . The Spark age group is also given an opportunity to serve in some of the younger children’s classes as “junior helpers”, which promotes selflessness and builds leadership skills while allowing the middle-schoolers to have fun while growing in their maturity.
For high school students wanting a real and exciting relationship with God, Ignite is the place to be. We establish a positive peer culture where the youth encourage each other to live as flames of fire for God.
Whether at our services, social activities, community-wide outreach events, or summer camps, we use every opportunity to impart spiritual truth while meeting the social needs of youth. No matter when or where, you will find Ignite youth living their lives as an act of worship. This includes working with children, singing on the praise team, assisting church leaders, choreographing dances, writing music and plays, and many other areas of ministry. As they become involved while serving, they discover their calling and how God will use them to lead others.
As the college and career ministry at Renew Church, we encourage our 18-25 year olds to take full advantage of kingdom opportunities whether it be through college outreach, ministry training, mission’s exposure or career training. Not only does this group pursue God’s plan full force, they also enjoy the fellowship of Godly peers through numerous social activities. In Launch, you’ll find a new definition for the “college and career” crowd.
If you are young at heart and married, you’re invited to join this energetic group. These couples are lively and fun-loving, but take very seriously learning the truths on how to have a Godly marriage. Bottom line: they love God, love their spouses, and love having a good time!
Married’s Ministry
As a part of the Married’s Ministry at Renew Church, you and your spouse become part of a greater family that will help you strengthen your own! With various activities, conferences and other special events planned throughout the year, the married couples here at Renew Church grow in their relationship with each other as well as with other like-minded couples. This group is led by and filled with anointed men and women of God whose marriages are a living, real example of “happily ever after”.
As the Fellowship Of Christians Unique and Single, FOCUS members are on a journey to walk as Jesus did on this earth. They are actively involved serving in many areas of ministry and also enjoy the fellowship of peers through monthly scheduled events. Their most popular event is the monthly “Lunch Bunch”. FOCUS singles admonish, exhort, and build up each other as they minister to one another as the Lord leads.
“Man Up” is an upward call to the men here at Renew Church. This ministry exists to Equip, Encourage and Empower men to develop a real, lasting relationship with God. Through discipleship, small group fellowships, sporting events, the annual “Men’s Advance” or just a few brothers talking over a cup of coffee, Man Up is dedicated to discovering and developing within men the qualities that help them become better husbands, caring fathers, Godly leaders and positive role models. As iron sharpens iron, these men hold each other accountable to “Man up” as the mighty, anointed, men of God they are called to be.
Ladies in leadership and on staff bring spiritual truths of victory to the women of Renew Church. As these leaders walk the talk in their own lives, they enable women to fulfill in grace and peace the multiple roles expected of today’s women. Refresh Women’s Ministry also actively encourages the women to develop relationally with others in true heart friendships, opportunities to mentor and be mentored and times of uproarious laughter and fun. With special speakers, overnight annual retreats, special Mother-Daughter times and practical life teachings, Refresh Women truly do “excel them all”.
